Directions

From the entrance station, drive about 9 miles on the main park road. The parking area is on the right.

Description

From the trailhead, walk a short distance on the paved trail to the first junction. Take a right, staying on the paved trail all the way to the end. From here you have the option of returning on the dirt path that loops around Balanced Rock. The dirt path ascends on a few steps up to a small ridge where an excellent angle of Balanced Rock appears. The trail now descends and ends back on the paved path.
